The Doors to Our New Building Are Open. The Vision of a Brighter Future Is Still Being Built.

When we first began talking about a new home for the Center, it was never because we simply needed a bigger building. It was because we believed our community deserved a place where individuals, families, and organizations could come together to find hope, build stronger futures, and access the support they need to thrive.

Today, that vision is becoming a reality. Every day, families are walking through our doors to receive services, find encouragement, and connect with people who genuinely care about their well-being.

The video below was created before we moved into our new home, but it tells the story behind this incredible journey. It captures the heart of why this project mattered and the vision that continues to guide everything we do.

While we’ve officially opened our doors, our work isn’t finished. We are still raising the final funds needed to complete our goals and fully realize the vision we set out to achieve. Every contribution, every partnership, and every person who believes in this mission helps us move one step closer to creating a lasting resource for generations to come.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch our story. If it resonates with you, I invite you to visit our new facility, join us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 19 at 3:30 PM, or simply reach out. I’d be honored to share more about the journey that brought us here and the future we’re building together.

On behalf of everyone at the Center, thank you for believing in our mission and in the families we have the privilege to serve. We couldn’t do this without a community that believes every person deserves hope, dignity, and the opportunity to succeed.

Testimonials

We love hearing from our Community

To the Center for Family Services for providing assistance. The department has treated me with the upmost respect and understanding of being low income residence of Meadville. Thank you Center for Family Services for helping me rebuild my foundation to secure a home - and thank you for boots for work!

I don’t know if you remember me. My name is Sarah (S). My friend, Jess and I met with you because I was homeless with my 3 children last year. I was running out of hope and could not find any help until we met with you. You were kind enough to look up my credit report and suggested I call Stephanie with Elevation Mortgage. After that I called Stephanie and found a realtor, Samantha. After 6 months of living on a porch in a tent and then in a camper, we finally made it to a house located in Meadville. I want to thank you. It doesn’t feel like enough just to say thank you. Homelessness was a situation I never thought I would find myself in because I've always worked and have always been careful with the money I make. After looking for help everywhere I could think of, searching for a home and having everything lead to absolutely nothing, I was feeling pretty defeated and ready to give up. You gave me the first step I needed and the hope I needed to get back on my feet. Thank you so very much!
